AICB - ICB Levels 1&2 manual & level 2 computerised
This is the minimum level of skill and qualification required to enable you to practise as a self employed Bookkeeper for Sole traders. Sole trader is a term used to describe the single owner of a business who is not in partnership or registered as a Limited Company or Organisation. Sole Traders represent more than half of all businesses in the UK and as such provide many potential clients for your business.
To attain AICB status you will be required to pass three exams: ICB Levels 1 and 2 Manual Bookkeeping plus Level 2 Computerised Bookkeeping. We have grouped these courses together in order to provide you with a combined learning package at a discounted rate. Plus with the introduction of our new Fast Track study material and the introduction of exams on demand this qualification is now easily achievable in less than six months if you wish.
At this point you can upgrade your ICB membership status, use the letters AICB after your name, Use the ICB Crest on your stationary and web site plus tap into the professional support and resources available from the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers.
