Tutor of the Year Luca Award Winner 2011 – Angela Capeling
We are delighted that one of our tutors (Angela Capeling) won this year’s "Tutor of the year” award at the ICB Bookkeepers Summit 2011which was held at the Banqueting House in London.
Since Angela joined us as a tutor at Training Link we have continually been impressed with the level of support she provides our students and we regularly receive glowing testimonials to back this. Angela will often work weekends and long hours to ensure her students get the fastest and most efficient support possible and because of this not only are we very proud of her but we believe she deserved the award.
We would like to thank the ICB for organising another successful conference and awards dinner. It was great to meet a lot of new people as well as some familiar faces and we’re already looking forward to the next one.
Message from Angela.
I just want to say a big THANK YOU to all our students who voted for me in the 'Tutor of the Year' category at this year's ICB Global Awards Ceremony. Just to be there was an experience in itself, but hearing my name being called out as the winner was a complete shock! I was so overwhelmed by it, that I will admit to crying. Oh dear! I hope I didn't scare the Prince in wanting to make a quick exit! When I finally made it on stage, only to be told 'Well done. You deserve it! I will never forget that for as long as I live!
I met some wonderful people there, who congratulated me at every turn. They were so warm and gracious, that to receive that from fellow nominees was just the icing on the cake!
I am so glad to be given the chance to help others reach their goal, and become part of this organisation, The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers! I am a proud member! On that note I would like to thank the ICB for putting on such an event for its members.
